SMS-en in kleur

Het Engelse Affle heeft een SMS applicatie ontworpen waarmee het mogelijk wordt kleur en andere 'gepersonaliseerde' features toe te voegen aan SMS berichten.

Met de SMS2.0 applicatie kan onder andere de text- en achtergrondkleur van SMS berichten aangepast worden.

Verder biedt SMS2.0 functies als het toevoegen van emoticons en animaties, een RSS reader en SMS zoekfunctie die gebruik maakt van de meest gangbare online zoekmachines zoals Google en Yahoo!.

De applicatie zelf zal gratis te krijgen zijn. Affle's businessmodel gaat uit van inkomsten uit advertenties die aan de berichten toegevoegd worden. Ik ben benieuwd hoe dat er dan uit gaat zien in SMS-vorm en wat de gevolgen zijn voor de grootte van de berichten (vrij te gebruiken aantal karakters per SMS bericht).

Emoticons zijn al te smsen. Maar in principe gaat smsen dus steeds meer op mailen lijken.
Ik begrijp alleen niet wat je aan een sms zoekfunctie hebt? Kun je dan je smsjes opzoeken, of de inhoud ervan uit lezen ofzo?
